View Full Version : Wood stair - stringer cutoff on the high side

In the case of a common wood stair with open stringers (carriages) the stringers (IMHO) should continue to the back side of the last riser. I've only been able to get them to go to the front of the last stair nosing.
Anybody have a fix or workaround?

Does anyone have a workaround or trick to create this type of stair such that the landing is the top tread of the stair?
That solution would solve the stringer issue with the new 6.0 stairs.
The .jpeg shows a floor modelling the landing.

I have submitted this condition as a bug. The stringer run value seems to be measured from the front of a riser to the front of a riser. That works for all but the last run. With no nose on tread it works correctly. I have come to just correct in view with line work.
