Activating a R8 licence do you lose the R7?

Surely i did something wrong, but yesterday i activated my R8 network licence with the usual issues..and at last i got it.
I didn't upgrade all my R7 files and when i tried to open the R7 release to work on i red that was impossible to find the right licence file. I knew that we can follow to use the previous version also when we upgrade at the newest one; something change in a network licence considering that the Autodesk Network Licence Manager reads only one licence file at time and now it's reading the R8's one?

The network license file (the text file) must contain the text for both the 7.0 and 8.0 licenses. You probably have only the 8.0. Hopefully, you saved a backup of your old 7.0 license file. Just cut-n-paste the two together.
