Tape Measure Tool

Is there a way to get the measure tool to go to the
nearest 1/2"? instead of these tiny fractions.

I don't think there is a way to get the Tape Measure to round...what I would do is set my project units to round to the nearest 1/2" and use the dimension command (keyboard shortcut would be best) to get the dimension to appear and then use the ESC key to make the dimension disappear. The dimension command would essentially become the tape measure tool.

Maybe someone else has a better suggestion.
