I am a new revit user. I am having some problems with levels. I would like the levels in elevations and sections to indicate structural levels (R.C.slabs). The finishing will then go higher. So when I built my floors with the finishing components I moved them up the finishing distance. But then I am having some problems. Some inserted components are inserted to the original level, so they appear sunk in the floor. Stairs are the real problem. They go from one level to the other, ignoring finish line. I tried to do Ref Planes to the finish line but I can't get the stairs to start and end at the finishing lines. I know there should be an easy way to handle that. I would appreciate any advice.

Amara:

Level-based families such as stairs will have an "offset" parameter to raise or lower the object in relation to its reference level. Check the object's properties.
