It has been almost a month since AU has come and gone and I must say what a great experience it was. As you can see, I am not too quick to post things, however, life does get in the way.

I would like to thank everyone who attended the Basic Revit Session for both their patience and understanding for the "small" oversight of not having Revit 5.1 on any of the lab computers. I would also like to thank all of the Autodesk Inc IT guys / girls for their "Indianapolis 500 pit crew" like effort in trying to get us up and running.

Finally, I think those who came back for the Wednesday night replay of the Basic Revit class would agree, a thank you for Autodesk Inc's handling of not only the class but also the provision of the fantastic Mexican Feast inlcuding the Corona's was above and beyond what everyone expected. It truly showed Autodesk's committment to providing thier customers with top notch service.

Keep in touch everyone, and let me know what you thought of the material covered in the class as well as the teaching methods used so that I too can grow and become better at whatever it is I am trying to do.

Happy New Year To All

Sincerely

I remember that fajita buffet with fond memories...oh, and your class was excellent, too!! I thought the material you covered was done at a good pace and was very helpful. And that, of course, is my humble un-biased lab assistant opinion! Hope to see you at AU next year!

Thank you for a good class. I mentioned to the Adesk person on my way out the door that I thought the way you and they handled the situation was very good.

I was unable to make the "make up" session as I had other AUGI duties already scheduled, but was happy that you at least went through the program very quickly and gave those of us that had never seen it a taste of just how powerful and fun a tool it is.

You did manage to "sell" me on Revit. I had just come to work for my local Autodesk dealer the week before AU and have been pushing Revit very strongly, even though I'm not in sales. Just heard that we got our first ever Revit customer after I was able to convince her that Revit would do everything she wanted with a much smaller learning curve than ADT.

I'm currently working hard to get Revit more attention in AUGI and to get some volunteers (are you interested?) to teach some of our upcoming ATP on-line classes. My goal is to have at least one Revit topic each month.

I have yet to learn everything about the program and haven't had hardly any time to sit down with it since your class, but I have your materials right here by me and am convinced that this is "the" program to have!

Thanks!
