Extrude Profile (was>This is an easy one.)

I need help with an extrusion.

How do I extrude a wall with a profile sketched in elevation.
I seem to only know how to do it in plan view.
What is the way?
I know I have done this before but it is not working out.

Then How do you dedicate a side of an extrusion to have either asurface pattern or not?

Sounds like you want to do a sweep, ie, sketch the bath and attach the profile. Either way you just need to create a view perpendicular to your wall so that you can sketch teh shape you want. You can use a ref. plane placed in plan and then create an elevation attached to that plane(you need to name the plane for this to work). Or easier just cut a section perp to your wall then move the section to the end of the wall.
