Pushing / Sharing Office Standards

Wondering if there is a 'search path' in Revit? Trying to set up office standard .pat and .txt files. Would be great if I can place the font map file, the keyboard shortcuts, etc in a single, shared network drive and let all users access it from there. Does a network deployment handle that? I haven't needed to look into that until now. Pointers?

Not ideal but,
Put the files on a network drive (in a protected folder if you which) then ask your network administrator to set up a batch file that copies/overwrites these files to each machine.
The files can be replaced with the latest every time a user logs in or the batch can be run whenever their is an update.
