Missing Ground Plane

Has anyone else had a problem in 8 with the ground plane not being visible in a rendering?

The very same. Never gotten round to posting a question up here before despite telling hundreds of customers to do so.

Go to settings/sun shadow settings. In the dialog box is a ground plane check box. Make sure it's checked. This is new in 8.
