I wish I could create a blended sweep that would create truely twisted objects (like a twisted baluster picket).

I know this is a work around. ( used a blend copied + rotate, constrained )But here is a family that works!

That isn't a true radius and is actually what I've been doing myself. With the blend sweep tool I'm suggesting you can control the twist and the amount of revolution for the blend. That way you can create cone shaped type twists in one shot.

Know I know. You can do this quite easily in Max just with the twist/taper modifier.
You will have to look for a work around

Yes! Give us the ability to do a blended sweep, we have been wanting this technology since version 5.0. Not to hijack here, and definitely keeping with the subject of these sorts of massing tools, but 3d sweeps would sure be nice too.
