23 of my 24 Revit user staff have requested the following:
Can we please get an option for setting a maximum number of hidden windows open? Ie: Set the max number to 1 or 5 or 9 (etc) depending on preference so Revit closes hidden windows when you try to open a new one in excess of what is already open.
I know this is lasiness, however we are seeing a lot of hanging on Revit when trying to open new windows, causing crashes and loss of work. I know that they should be religously using the close hidden windows button, but lets face it. Archiectural staff are used to having piles of drawing sheets on their desk and dont appear to do this even though they know it slows them down. ( i notcied one of them today with looked like more than 30 windows open).
PS. the 1 who didnt want was me, I dont mind, however the rest thought it was a silly set up the way it is. Particularly when documenting and detailing.
Anyway - food for thought.
