Can't rotate plan

We are trying to rotate our plan, sounds simple enough, but we keep getting error messages that say: Ceiling Sketch Invalid, Floor Sketch Invalid.

All we want to do is simply rotate a building, can anyone share some insight into these messages.

Rotate the crop region not a building. It should work.

You never rotate a building in revit, you allways set up the building how you want it to appear on your sheet, then rotate the site around it, then using the location and coordinate/project north/rotate project tools you orient your building to the real world.

However if you actually do need to rotate your building, go to a 3d view, select everything with a crossing window, then ctrl+tab back to your plan, click rotate and enter the value.
