Split section bug

I have a building section that I split and offset one end in the floor plan. Now if I go to a perpendicular building section (that cuts through the offset end of the first section), I see that first section in the view, but I can't drag the ends of the section. The section annotation is alot taller than the view of the building itself, and I'd like to drag the ends of the section line closer to the building.

I had to remove the split and put the first section back into one line, adjust it in the other section, and then go back and split that section again. Is this a bug?

BTW it's Version 8 latest build 5/23 I think.
