Using ACAD2002 i had keyboard commands (Shift + E ) and other SHift Key combinations for Osnap operations. But After Importing acad.pgp file and importing customization from acad.mnu file to main cui file every thing else is working but Shift command combinations.
Please state the reason and solution if possible
That will be a great help
Well, I can't answer WHY they didn't import (still unsure as to why some do and some don't myself) but I imagine you can enter the CUI and change the function of the shift commands.
type CUI and press [Enter]
(at top left you should see a series of customization options - i.e.: Workspaces, Toolbars etc.)
Expand "Keyboard shortcuts" and then expand "Shortcut Keys"
Now on the lower left you should see "All Commands" on the COMMAND LIST menu.
Scroll down to the command you want to add as a keyboard whortcut and drag & drop it up to the "Shortcut Keys" (anywhere is fine) - For example: Copy
Click it and then on the lower right you should see all the characteristics of this command. Select the "Access" section and click on the 3 dots that appears at the right.
Place the cursor on the "Press New Shortcut Keys" and .. um ... press the new shortcut you want the command to be - For Example: Ctrl+C
Press Assign on the top left. and select OK. If another command was being used by the keystroke you wanted, it will warn you that it is going to change it. Click OK if you really want to chage the default keystroke.
Click "Apply" once it takes you out to the CUI screen again and click OK. You should now have the keystroke as your command.
Hope this helps, if not, let me know.
