I modified my Ctrl+D keystroke to function as my Quick Dimension command but it acts differently from last year's AutoCAD. Is there a way to change the way Quick Dimension works?

is this a mystery like the Chupacabra?Umm ,since the original post was years old, my guess is that no one saw the post.

So what version are you talking about? What's different?

So what's wrong? Does QDim work differently when assigned to a keyboard shortcut vs. the other UI elements?

No, I think the issue was that I was a n00b. I think the problem was that I didn't like the way the new QDim worked and wanted to know if I could get it to act like my old QDim.

Don't worry about it, it's okay. I'm on 2008 now, so any issue I had with 2004 has to be well and settled now.

I cannot help you with the command in CUI but I live a couple hundreds miles from the city where the Chupacabra once was seen, in Brazil... perhaps you need more info on that :)
Cheers!
