Slow to "Quit Family"

In 8.0, revit is very slow to quit a family. It's much faster to undo and save the family if you decide not to keep changes. Anybody notice this and whether to new build addresses this?

Yes, I have also noticed this, saving or "finishing" in-place families is very slow.
