In AutoCAD 2006 I do not see a way to change the location of the pull down menus. I have loaded some partial menus and would like them before Window and Help. I used to be able to do this with "menuload" in previous versions of AutoCAD. Does anyone know how to rearrange the items on the pull down menus? Thanks

Please note that I have moved this thread from the AutoCAD Customization forum to this one. I believe it would be better served here.

You can arrange them using the workspace in the CUI dialog box.

CUI
set the desired workspace current if it isn't hit the + sign next to MENUS collection then click and drag to reorder them as desired.
I think you can do it in either the Left or the Right pane one being the total UI, the other being the partial one used by the WS.

Got it working. The trick is to have at least one workspace defined. With the "default" workspace out of the box, it doesn't work.

I was getting a little ahead of myself there. :D

Try the MenuLoad utility at http://www.contractcaddgroup.com/articles/menuload.htm

That works great for 2008, what about those of us stuck with 2006?

Use the CUI editor. Select the workspace (make sure it is not the active workspace). Select the Modify button in the right pane. Drag and drop the menus into the correct order.
