Where to find area info in Oracle Spatial

I am using Map 2005 to create a table of polygons in oracle spatial. I know that there is information in the generated table that contains that point information for the polygon, but is there a calculated area somewhere? I know it is possible to calculate it based on the points, but it is a bit of a pain especially when you have curved boundaries.
