Lock DST Files

Is ther any way to lock a dst. file so that it can be used as a templet. But can not be changed.

You could take two approaches to this. The first is make it read only to prevent accidental changes.

The second is to setup a shared network folder for your templates with read only rights for the users.

I don't know if the program CADLock will work on a Template file. http://cadlock.com/ But this is only way I'm aware of locking a DWG.
