How does deleting a wall affect Room Tags?

Scenario...
I have a project well underway. All rooms are numbered and tagged. I need to delete a wall and replace it with another. What is the best way to do this? If I delete the wall and place another wall, will the room tags see the new wall and repair their areas? Do I somehow split the wall, change its type and drag its ends to the correct location?

I think I solved my own question... It looks as if you delete a wall, select OK to the warning box, then draw in new walls, the room tags re-calc to the new boundaries.
