My find and replace dialog is not working. I go into the command and type what the text says now and what I want it to say and it does not find any occurrence of the text string.
I have made sure it is exactly as it is in what I want to replace and still does not find it, There are 50 occurrences of the text in the drawing.
Thanks

Have you made sure that it is looking through all text objects (I forget what the exact button you need to click is off the top of my head) but make sure it's not just looking for attributes and that match whole words only isn't checked.

I am having the same problem. The dialog box in Acad 2006 does not work like in 2002. Previously the find and replace function found all occurances including attributes, now it only finds dtext. Is this what you are running into?

You may have to specify the search parameters under OPTIONS in the find dialogue box.

If you use some special characters like ? * it might be related to that since they acts as wildcards. http://jtbworld.blogspot.com/2005/08/find-more-in-autocad-2006.html
