I knew that it was too good to be true. I created a tool palette for common blocks my office uses. All of the blocks are in one .dwg file that is on the shared drive and all users/work stations have an accessible path to. I exported that tool palette to another folder on the shared drive. Then in the options window of AutoCAD I changed all the workstations file path for 'Tool Palette File Locations' to that folder. It was working great until recently. Some how that folder has gotten filled with AcTpCatalog.atc files with different numbers [AcTpCatalog_2.atc; AcTpCatalog.atc_3] as well as user names [AcTpCatalog (kenneth v1).atc; AcTpCatalog (jnh v1) (kenneth v1) (Drew v1).atc]. Where do these files come from? Today one of my drafters deleted a blank 'New Tool Palette' tab and now all of the work stations' tool palettes aren't working. I can't help but think it's because with all of those *.atc files in the shared folder. Any suggestions for a fix or a better way to share the tool palette?
