Is there a way to convert a dwf to a dwg. I'm using 2k4 and viewing the dwf with the express viewer and need to recreate this drawing without a lot of time.

Thanks a lot
Tommy

Maybe some third party converter software will do it.
Maybe anydwg.com or similar.
Do a web search.

You can open the dwf and indeed do the copy/paste option when you paste in AutoCAD select "paste special" from the AutoCAD "Edit" menu and select "Autocad entities". it will paste the drawing in as linework. Everything will be lines including text and it will be messy, tiny, segmented lines. Chances are youll waste more time correcting and touching up the drawing then you would take to draw it all from scratch, but you can paste it in.

anydwg.com has a converter that works perfectly!

Thanks a lot,
