Trees

I am presenting in shading with edges. Does anyone have any suggestions for palm trees that would show up in this view. I know I can change the deciduous tree to a palm if I render the view but I am looking for a palm representation in the shading with edges view. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to open the family and add some model lines to represent the palm tree. You could try to talk Steve Shell into sending you a copy of his palm tree. He did a nice job doing just what I described.

Here ya go! (I like this model tree, eventhough some say it looks like a bunch of bats in elevation.)
In the family, there are a few types to remind me to change them to what I want rendered. There is Date Palm, a few Coconuts with various hts. and a leaning one. They work pretty well parametrically, except for the plan view size.
