View Full Version : Elevation Tag

I need an interior elevation symbol to key to elevations that are not in the Revit file, they are fairly complex lab elevations that are drawn in AutoCad. The functionality of the native Revit tag is great except that the elevations that it creates are not needed. Any suggestions on how to accomplish this? Or are 50 or so useless elevations not a big deal?
Thanks,

Place a reference plane at the height you want to label & use the spot elevation command found under drafting. It'll call out the elevation of the reference plane.

You can make the real elevation tag in revit, then import your autocad drawing into that view and turn off the model. I'd leave the text and dimensions off the autocad version and place them in revit. But if your layers are correct you will beable to control the line weights.
