hello there

I working on Autocad 2005 and facing a problem plotting the layouts. i sent those files to the Blue prints company, with DWG format file, they ask me to convert this format to TIFF or PLT file in order for them to print it using their plotter.

the thing is that i don't know how to convert such a file or compress the layouts in a pile in order for them to print it.

i really appreciated if you can help me.
Thank u very much

Murad

Hi:

To create a plt file go to print and when your print dialogue box opens click on the print to file then it will ask you where you want to store the drawing as a plt. Create a new folder and don't forget to give the drawing a name with the plt extension. when you are finished send your plt files to the printer. Hope this helps.

...and make sure you are using the correct print driver for "their" plotter.
