Soldier bricks not printing

I just plotted out an elevation sheet of a building with brick veneer, and all the field brick patterns printed fine, but the mortar joint lines of my brick soldier course bands did not print. It looks like just a solid white band 8" tall all the way across the building facade. Anybody know what might cause that?

Check the setting (and spacing) for the pattern applied to the soldiers.

It is set to normal spacing... it shows up fine in elevation on the screen but won't plot.
