Dutch Dormer

Heres something new and different. I'm trying to creat a Dutch Dormer on a hip roof. Sort of a project gable end sitting on top of the dormer.

I cheated out a sketch in ACAD, still new to Revit and the old bad tools are easy to use.

Sitting atop the hip you mean? The tricks are to make two roofs and join geometry. Exactly how you separate the roofs is your call but some options are:
[list:61e3d375aa]A simple gable at the centre with a three-sided hip at the end below the dutch dormer.
A simple hip roof with a gable above.
A simple hip with a cut off at height x and a simple gable end roof above that cut off line.[/list:u:61e3d375aa]
