ROOF TRIMMING

It would be great if roofs could be trimmed, it would be great if the trim command worked more like AutoCAD. Pull a window, right click, and click away parts you don't want. Openings are a pain and besides roofs can't be joined if they have been cut. if I could select all my roofs and pick the roof planes I want to keep or cut, my life woulds be easier. Have you tried using voids to trim away roof portions you don't want ?

Remember that you are dealing with 3D objects, not a 2D representation of an object.

I think a trim command would be great also. Something where you could have to overlapping roofs and be able to have the program trim away the fat.

Wouldn't that be the same thing as using voids? Maybe a bit quicker, but you will have more control with voids than having the program decide what is fat and what isn't.
