Stair stinger & balstrade finishing

Hi all..

Hoping soemone can help with this.
In the attached pic my stringer finishes abruptly with a vertical cut at the floor
level. I would like it to continue (full width) to the floor level.
Can i achieve this through the stair model or do i have to butcher the 2D section view?

Also - the way the balustrade posts are (NOT) connecting to the top of the stringer -
is there a way to tidy this up within the family itself or do i also have to cover it all up
when detailing?

Edit the stair and in the sketch extend the green boundary lines beyond the first tread. Dimension this offset to make it easier to adjust, as you may need to trial & error it to get it the way you want.
After doing this, you will need to separately edit the start point of the balustrade, as it will come with the stringer start point, but can be pulled back independently.
Re the baluster, check that they are located directly above the stringers - no offset.
