When plotting to an HP Laserjet, brackets around Alternate Units dimensions and within notes are plotting as rectangles instead of brackets. I am using AutoCAD 2006 bundled with ADT and I have only recently begun having this problem. Anybody got any suggestions to fix this?

Did this begin when you started using ACAD 2006? I had the same kind of issue with Canon Laser printers and it turned out to be a driver problem.

I have seen it in the past, but only a couple of times. It seems to be happening with every plot since we upgraded to ADT 2006.

Long time since I have looked at this thread, but I have discovered something.
I copied & pasted some AutoCAD drawings into a Microsoft Word document and again saw the brackets displayed as rectangles. I have stumbled upon a work around (not a "fix"). I saved the AutoCAD details as .dxf files and the brackets display properly in the Word document...however (there is always a caveat, eh?) the lineweights paste somewhat dimmer with the .dxf than with the .dwg.
