Can anyone tell me how you would handle this situation if you were to build this assembly. It seems that Revit doesn't like to dimension where angled or curved walls meet straight walls (some kind of prejudice thing i guess ha ha) I know that there are some workarounds but I would rather this be intuitive not fudged, for example

1. miter off the end of the angled walls
2. add ref planes to attach dimensions to.

any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Change your wall join to a different butt condition or miter....

Not what I am looking for aaron The client wants the angle effect not a butt effect, as stated above I know this way and the client says no that is to blocky looking he wants cutting edge walls not squared corners.

Thanks anyway for your feedback any other suggestions

Like this? Just drug the dim to a new point with the tab key....

Maybe we misunderstand each other.. I didn't mean use "square off" Just the other available butt condition (or miter). This gives you different endpoints to sanp to.

yep I was misunderstanding. cool that fixes 2 out of the three walls not dimensioned. the third which is the upper left wall not dimensioned.

P.S. why does the entire wall function not work on angled and curved walls or where the straight wall meets one of these conditions.
