SWEEP AUTOMATICALLY BECOMES GROUPED ?

Hi guys

I have created a curved piece of structural steel using and in place family using the sweep command and sent my profile to follow a curved path.

This works fine, however, once I have completed the family Revit 8.0 will not let me edit the sweep or profile as it is saying it is part of array group 1. I have definately not included this sweep in any group.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can re-edit this sweep, or why it is saying this.

Dave,

This sounds very much like a problem I've had recently. Check to see if the beam has been formed on a gridline or reference plane that is part of an existing array / group. Either redraw the beam on its own ref plane and move it into position or ungroup the gridlines / ref plane.
I've got a strange feeling this will work.
