purge / delete dimension styles?

Hi all,
How can you purge / delete dimension styles? They don't appear in the family browser and there is no delete in the type properties dialogue. We have several styles in the template and now want to remove the unwanted ones.

You should be able to purge unused dimension styles from your template.

They appear under the " Other Styles" category.
