My office just switched to Revit and I could use a hand figuring out how to model this simple roof. The overhang on the gable end is tapered. See illustration.

Can I attach the roof to a ref plane? What would be the best way to create this?

Thanks in advance

Just split the line that represents the gable end into two pieces and create the prow or whatever it is called out of those two pieces. At least that's how I'd do it.

I think you can get what you want with a sketch like this.

After you finish the walls, use Roof by Footprint and use the line command to construct the outline of the roof as per the attached jpeg.

Hope this helps

Yep that will do it. I figured it out this morning pretty quickly. I just had my brain switched off last night.

Thanks for the help everybody
