It always used to be hold the Ctrl-Alt-Shift keys and choose "Help - About Autodesk Revit..." from menu.

Haven't tried it in RB8 yet.

Open the Revit application - close all projects
While holding down Ctrl+Alt+Shift
Select Help -> About Revit from the menu.
The application will now write out the product name and some of the original contributors.

An easter egg is a surprise hidden inside of a program by the software developers. Usually it is a place for them to list credits for the programmers. They can be very clever. Excel 5.0 had a temple of doom theme where you had to explore a cave looking for photos of the original staff. They usually require absurd key combinations to access them.

I've heard they're appearing in DVDs now, though I've never actually seen one.

There's some recognizable names there, but what has now become of most of them ??

Developer burnout ?

If thats the only overhead the developers built in - GREAT job guys! Its nice t o know you're not filling the app with C**P! Unlike some others - word excel ....
Those developers must have way too much time on their hands.
