Hi to all,

I am keen to know how other user are detailing their built-in cupboards, wardrobes, linnen press shelving ect.
I have done one job where I just used 2D lines, but this was a bit time consuming as I like cupboard sections & elevations with & without doors.
Should I be putting my time into a shelf family that will show up in all views/sections ect?

Thanks in advance....
Brent.

If you want sections and elevations, and you do a bit of this stuff, then most definatetly yes, make some shelf families.

We model sheving for commercial Kitchens when it appears in a couple of elevations and sections and when changes are likely. Otherwise we often use model lines ( not drafing lines ), since they will appear in background view also.

I there is a shelf configuration that I've never used, I consider it as Beegee recommended. However, if it's something that you'll use on more than one project. . . I'd say that you definitely have to model it as a family.
