Here's the problem, I took a project home to work on, the project has worksets. I did some sitework on the "site" workset but did not "close" the workset when finished.

I brought the project into work to continue working on it on a different computer and I need to work on the "site" workset but Revit will not give me access to the workset because it says it's still open under my home coputer's name.

This there any way I can force the "site" workset to close so I can work on that aprticular workset in my office?

First you can try, opening Revit and changing your workset user name before opening the project. This might not help, since the central file will know the path has changed too.

If you worked on the central file at home and saved it, then brought that file into the office, you ought to be able to save it, choosing to create a new central file even though it has a workset checked out...the changes have been saved so you shouldn't lose any work.

You're a good man, it worked! Thank you. I just did a "save as" of the central file and presto, it released the workset.
