What is the most obvious way to replicate this kind of castellation (see photo) using Revit? Should I create a family object for each individual castellation - a tall one and a short one? If so, which family category is appropriate for sitting on top of a wall - "furniture"?. Or should I use some sort of extrusion? Grateful for any advice - can't work it out. Thanks.

Try a railing with custom balusters alternating in size. See this link. Here (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=21599&highlight=dentil)

I would make a roof piece then copy it, move it up and down, and then extend the wall up to it.

I'd probably do it with a sweep on a short wall arrayed along the top of the main wall. Because a wall is a wall.

The miters at the corners should be easier to manage.

I know there are different words for things in different parts of the world, but I think this feature is actually called crenallation. Just in case someone does a search for it sometime, they'll find this thread.
