Mitering options for roof facias

Here we go again. :wink:

Is it just me or is it not possible to change the mitering options like we did in 5.1 ?? I don't see an option on the options bar, is there some other way?

After placing the fascia sweep, select modify and select the fascia and you will then see "Change Mitering Option "

i see no "Change Mitering Option" on the options bar when i select the sweep.

alright well, this sucks... :evil:

if i start a NEW project in 6.0, create a roof and add a fascia. I see the option (as i did in 5.1).

If i start a project in 5.1, create a roof and add a fascia, I see the option in 5.1. when i upgrade the project to 6.0, i do NOT see this option.

Some objects don't update to the new version. Sometimes they need to be re-created in the version you are working in to take on all the new features.

I'm getting the same thing, but only in some projects. An all new 6.0 project is fine. Some projects started in 5.1, mitering option isn't available even if old fascia is deleted and new one created. Bug?

Now i wonder how we fix the projects when the mitering option isn't available.

FYI. this has been filed as a bug in 6.0.


the mitering option is in 5.1, and 6.0, but not in 5.1 upgraded to 6.0. I will file a bug. In the meantime, a workaround for upgraded models is to replace the fascia. Newly placed fascia in an upgraded file will offer mitering options.
