Attach a railing to stair

Have you ever forgot how to spell the word 'the"?:screwy:

I've erased a railing from my stair run and I've forgotten how to re-attach a new one! All I get is a flat railing, not angled up the staircase.

Just use the set host button in the railing sketch. And make sure the railing sketch is drawn on the stair (not offset from it).

Thanks goodness we have the time zones represented here.

It seems when I pick the inside of the stringer as the railing line the railing angles up (good). When the outside of the stringer is selected it goes flat (bad). But what if I want to pick the midpoint or the outside of the stringer?

No problem. Just make sure the sketch of the railing is on the stair (and the stair is the host). Then use the offset options for the balusters and the rail profiles to offset the geometry from the sketch. The offset options is in the Type Parameters of the railing.
