Hi all,

I work in metric, so this will be a really easy question to answer for those who work in imperial measurements.

We're doing drawings for a renovation of a building that was originally draw in feet and inches, so I'm drawing the existing in feet and inches. How do you input 1/2, 9/16, 3/4 etc inches? I've worked out how to input feet and inches, but get a "enter a value or formula starting with '=" message when I use a back slash....

5 6 3/4 gives me 5' 6" 3/4"
Did you check your regional settings

ahh... I think it's spaces between each value. I didn't have a space between the inches and the fractions...

Thanks!

however 56 3/4 is 56'-0 3/4", but 56 3/4" is 4'-8 3/4"

How do you differentiate them to Revit?

Having to do this building in imperial is really slowing me down! Come to think of it, this is the only thing I'v ever done non-metric...
