Export coordinates - shared

Ok, I have a topo model('a') that I've linked into another file('b'). I've published the coordinates back to the topo model. This worked because I can link file 'b' into 'a' now and in syncs right up. However when I export from model 'a', it exports to its "old" location. How can I fix this?

...How can I fix this?...In the Export dialog choose Options, then check the shared button.
