Is there an easy way to set values in the Revit inportlineweights file to correspond to an AutoCAD ctb file?
It seems like it would be very tedious for a consultants elaborate ctb file I am dealing with.
Thanks.

The only way I know is to use File>Import/Export Settings>Import Lineweights DWG/DXF...
You will need to manually create a txt file in which a Revit Lineweight corresponds to a color in the ctb file. Not a simple/clean solution.
Does anyone out there have a conversion utility to convert ctb color-lineweight values to the Revit txt file format? Factory?

I have abandoned trying to bring in consultant's AutoCAD drawings to the project I'm working on. They seem to use a different line width for all 256 colors.
It would help if I could enter a line width directly in the importlinewidth.txt file instead of having to figure out which Revit number to use.
It does seem like it would be easy for someone to create a conversion utility.
In cases like this it would really be nice to be able to link a dwf file.
Thanks for your reply.

For consultant drawings just bring them in all one line widht, then modify the specific layers you want to be heavier or lighter. Typically I just halftone most consultant drawings maybe mep I will take their equip layers and modify them in objectstyles to be heavier.
