Does anyone know of a way to make the extension lines of an arc length dimension radial (extension lines pointed to the center) rather than orthogonal?

Thanks for the help!

Hi

Please note I have *moved* this thread from the AutoCAD Customization (http://forums.augi.com/forumdisplay.php?f=118) Forum to this one as I believe it would be better served here.

Thanks, Mike

Not that I could find. Here is how AutoCAD decides what it should be (shameless plug - from my ATP course this month) (http://www.augi.com/education/schedule.asp?page=292)

The extension lines can be orthogonal or radial. Orthogonal lines are displayed only if the included angle of the arc is less than 90 degrees.

Any solution so far? I also have the same problem - can“t change the arc dimension from orthogonal to radial.

Only if you need it very badly.

Use an angular dimension, then edit the text, insert a field, objects category, pick the arc then use arc length property. :D

Great stuff, arshiel88, that's thinking outside the curve.
