I'm working on a facade which contains wooden panels. I made a family with one solid and attached a material to it. However when I rendered the facade it turned all grey. See attachment.
Does somebody has an answer on how to solve this problem??

Have a look in the materials settings > Accurender > texture. Specify the texture.

Bas,
Revit has two render engines. One is the shaded view you get along with wireframe, hidden line, etc. The other is a component of Accurender incorporated into Revit. The Accurender engine requires a second material definition. As you see from the attached you can give the accurender material any name and assign it a material. This case is chrome polish assigned an oak burl, which makes no sense, but you can do it.
In your project, right click on your object, and select properties, and look under materials and finishes. Select the materials line (will probably say <by category>, then the material selection dialogue will pop up. Assign the Accurender material you want. Should render.
