view top within line command

I am trying to create a command that will let me use the (view-top) command in the middle of the (line) command the way (zoom-w) works.

The way I achieve this is -
1. Click the top-view toolbar icon which sets the UCS and a plan view.
2. Click one of the orthographic view icons which changes view direction but not the UCS.
3. Start the Line command
4. Click ZoomPrevious
5. Continue the line.

Any help?

The VIEW toolbar works transparently. Just click the view needed when it is needed.
