I'm in a 5MB dwg, gouraud shaded, switch to Layout2, open options, System tab, Current 3D Graphics Display Properties, switch to hardware acceleration, click OK to get back to options, click OK to close options dialog box. I then get the following...

AutoCAD Error Aborting
FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0000 Exception at 1bf6cc9eh

I searched for that Exception and cannot find it; not in ACAD, Windows, or web. The reason I switched to hardware acceleration is because I'm having a graphics performance problem, so I'm trying to solve it. When I shade, blocks disappear, not all on the same layer, not the same ones every time, and in most drawings of various sizes. *shrugs* I'm at a loss.

PLEASE HELP!
