If you've had instability issues with Inventor 10 SP1,and you're using custom add-ins, a hotfix
has been released by Autodesk here (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=5645485&linkID=4183232).

If you don't use part numbers as a unique method of identifying your parts in the BOM or parts list, and consequently want to turn off automatic row merging, try the new hotfix here (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/dl/item?siteID=123112&id=5707935&linkID=4183232).

Just an interesting thing I stumbled across the other day. I was looking at my Add/RemovePrograms button in Windows XP SP2, and noticed that my AIP R10 SP1 shows up in it's own indented line Inventor Pro.

Has anyone else noticed this? It looks like you can now roll back your service pack without uninstalling the entire program (haven't tried it though).

If you check the "Show updates" in "Add or remove programs", it shows all the updates and hotfixes you've installed for Inventor and Vault (if you're using Vault).

Thanks! I guess I never noticed it before. I usually go to major service packs an don't install hotfixes unless I'm noticing the issue. It's just nice to know that 'rolling back a service pack' is no longer a fancy way of saying. Uninstall/reinstall.
