Can someone confirm for me that in place families made under the furniture category do NOT cut in section or interior elevation? (and GRR...if I might add)

Yes, if you want it to show you'll have to make it under casework.

Oh, good to know for the future...I ended up just moving them all under the Generic Model category and then creating a subcategory for the specific types of furniture.

the families made under the furniture (http://www.jigneshramani.org) category don't cut in the section.
