Is there a view function in revit that works like mview command in Autocad?
We have a Large Project 1 hec. which is compose of 3 towers and podium (Condominium)
I need to create a Large Plan which mean part by part of the building in A1 size(keyplan & match line will be required).
I was thinking the concept of autocad "mview". paperspace layout is view of Large plan and all changes done in model space will be reflected in paperspace.

I already try Callout but unfortunately the dimension, tags, line, Drafting object & etc were not capture.

"Duplicate with Detailing " the Floor plan view create a tedious task when updating the Match line.

Need You advise..........

Thanks

Take the main plan and group all the 2D drafting detail, notes and tags you would like to keep sync from view to view. Either create your split plans by callouts, or duplicate the view and adjust the crop region. In my opinion doing a duplicate with detail after you've made the group and adjusting the crop region is the simplest.

Now if you update the detail group, it will be reflected in the other split plans as well.

This also work well for cascading the detail from one sections view up to a detail view. In your wall section draw and group your detail. Make your callout. Copy/Paste same place the detail from section to callout. Add any additional detail you need to the callout. If you update the detail in the callout - the section will automatically be updated as well.

Interesting use of groups. I would nominate this for a "tips & tricks" post.
